Position Overview
The Vice President – Value-Based Care Operations will lead and scale the offshore delivery organization supporting U.S.-based clients in value-based care services, including risk adjustment, quality, and care coordination. This leader will oversee staffing operations, service quality, and financial performance.
The ideal candidate has deep firsthand experience in HCC coding and risk adjustment, led teams generating tens of millions in annual revenue, and possesses proven expertise in financial planning, forecasting, and budget adherence. This role requires both operational excellence and client-management to drive sustainable growth and client value.

Business & Operations Leadership :
• Own and manage the overall P&L, including revenue, margins, SG&A, and EBITDA.
• Oversee end-to-end operations across delivery centres in IKS locations in India.
• Drive consistent achievement of delivery SLAs, accuracy targets, and productivity benchmarks.
• Drive operational excellence across all delivery functions including recruitment, training, quality, and workforce management.
• Lead large-scale operations and manage high-volume, complex client engagements, ensuring adherence to delivery standards.
• Implement continuous improvement frameworks to enhance efficiency and cost effectiveness.
• Provide operational input to product design and support go-to-market team on business development initiatives
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders (Sales, Finance, HR, and Technology) to align delivery capacity with business growth plans.
• Serve as subject matter expert on industry trends, including CSM and regulatory updates, HCC coding guideline changes, and technology trends impacting delivery
Financial Management :
• Build, monitor, and manage operating budgets, ensuring adherence to revenue and margin commitments.
• Drive revenue growth and profitability for the value-based care business unit.
• Manage cost optimization initiatives while maintaining service quality.
• Oversee pricing strategies, contract governance, invoicing, collections, and revenue assurance mechanisms.
• Deliver on forecasted revenue, margins, and EBITDA targets.
Client & Stakeholder Management :
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, including CXO-level stakeholders.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
• Act as a strategic partner to clients by offering consultative solutions.
• Lead client governance forums, business reviews, and escalation management.
• Partner with client operations, technology, finance, and compliance teams to ensure seamless execution.
• Drive client satisfaction through transparency, responsiveness, and proactive communication.
People Leadership :
• Lead a multi-layered delivery organization with on-site presence across Mumbai and Hyderabad sites
• Build a high-performance culture focused on accountability, learning, and excellence.

Experience
• 15+ years of experience in healthcare operations, with at least 10 years in HCC coding leadership roles is most preferred; however minimum experience of 5 years in HCC coding leadership role is a must.
• Proven experience managing end-to-end offshore operations with P&L accountability of $20M+.
• Demonstrated success in workforce management, financial governance
• Extensive experience with US healthcare client relationship management spanning offshore operation projects
