About DepartmentThe Data Intelligence Group is the Data & Analytics arm of TresVista. The department's sole objective is to provide analytical solutions and support to the clients so that they can take data-driven decisions. Broadly, we provide comprehensive solutions across Data Engineering, Data Visualization, Automation, and AI/ML- based solutions.
Role OverviewThe Vice President of the Data Intelligence Group will lead, mentor, and develop a team of Associates and Analysts. This role involves overseeing and driving technical initiatives. This position offers a dynamic path for learning and growth, with high exposure to team management and client engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborates with stakeholders to understand requirements and uses analytical tools to create a data pipeline to provide actionable insights into financial management, operational efficiency, and other key business performance metrics
- Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, where necessary supporting the redesign of infrastructure for greater scalability
- Develops sophisticated & innovative analytical solutions and actionable insights for the stakeholder
- Acquires data from multiple sources to convert it in a specified format to be stored in a database for insight generation
- Supports creation of Coding Best Practices, Software Product Training Materials, Software Product User Guides, and Software Product Deployment Instructions
- Fixes software defects/bugs, measures and analyses code for quality
People Manager:
- Manage teams working across multiple projects for different clients, ensuring high performance and effective collaboration
- Mentor and develop team members, nurturing talent in areas such as Data Engineering, Predictive Analytics, and Gen AI
- Actively supports the business strategy, plans and values, contributing to the achievement of a high-performance culture
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging the team to adopt best practices across analytics value chain
Prerequisites:
- Hands-on experience on ETL (Python/Spark/R) tools and Data Warehouse
- Extensive hands-on experience in Data Science (ML, Deep Learning) and Gen AI using Python
- Experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies like Agile
- Strong experience of Cloud Platform (AWS/Azure) and solution designing
- Experience with visualization tools – Tableau/Power BI/Qlik
- Experience in designing, developing, and maintaining complex enterprise applications
- Proficient Communication Skills, High Quantitative ability, and Analytical skills
- Experience with modern SDLC tools – Git/Bit Bucket, JIRA/Trello - is a plus
Experience:
8+ years of experience in Data Engineering/Software Development
Education:
Bachelors/Master's degree from Tier-1 colleges would be preferable
Compensation:
The compensation structure will be as per industry standards
