Job Description :
We are seeking a Senior Spark/Hive/HBase Developer with experience in Unix to join our dynamic team. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing data-driven solutions using Spark, Hive, HBase, and Unix technologies.
Software Requirements :- Proficient in Apache Spark, Hive, HBase
- Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
- Knowledge of data modeling and understanding of different data structures
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git
Overall Responsibilities :- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code
- Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
- Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.
Technical Skills :- Expertise in Apache Spark, Hive, and HBase
- Experience in Unix/Linux shell scripting
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems
- Experience in working with large datasets and big data technologies
- Experience in data pipeline construction and data wrangling
Experience :- Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with Spark, Hive, HBase
- Experience in Unix/Linux environments
- Experience in working within an Agile/Scrum development team.
Day-to-day activity :- Designing and developing data processing algorithms on Spark, Hive, and HBase
- Writing and debugging Unix shell scripts
- Participating in daily scrum meetings and discussing progress and roadblocks
- Collaborating with team members on code reviews and process enhancements
- Documenting and maintaining software functionality
Qualification :- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
