Key Responsibilities
- Managing Veeva platform-specific configurations and governance
- Ensuring compliance with GxP requirements where applicable
- Coordinating with Technical Service Owners and Business System Owners
- Managing Key Users and training programs
- Overseeing Veeva documentation management processes
- Looking after Incident Management, Problem Management, Service Request Management,
- Change Management, Issue Management.
- Continuous support for the ongoing projects, migrations, generic releases and minor
- releases hypercare process setup, hypercare meetings, trackers reporting, governance.
- Managing and leading a group of support team members (vendors/contractors). Mentor and
- support junior configuration engineers and DevOps specialists, promoting a culture of
- technical excellence and knowledge sharing.
- Assess and manage the impact of Veeva product releases (three times per year); plan and
- orchestrate remediation and upgrade activities with cross-functional teams.
- Partner closely with Product Line Owners, Scrum Masters, and business stakeholders to
- define configuration strategy and ensure regulatory and compliance alignment.
- Oversee the documentation of system designs, configurations, and technical decisions using
- JIRA, Confluence, and validated repositories.
- Ensure adherence to GxP regulation, and Data Integrity standards across all deliverables.
- Collaborate with Veeva and strategic partners to leverage best practices and emerging
- features within the Vault suite.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives around configuration governance, automation, and operational efficiency.
- Provide expert support for critical incidents and major platform changes in partnership with
- AIMS and Service Management teams.
- Define and drive functional strategies across their domain.
- Work closely with senior business leaders to advise and influence strategic matters.
- Set global strategy and design global solutions
- Provide functional domain expertise to solve complex business challenges
- Build capabilities and share best practices across the organization
- Continuously monitor market evolution and screen external trends
- Own, design, and govern COE-specific processes. Work upon implementation of global
- strategies within COE.
- Lead a team of 30+ internal and external Veeva Resources
- Manage R&D Veeva Budget including license cost to the tune of 80 Mn
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a
- related field.
- 18+ years of progressive experience in Veeva Vault configuration and administration within
- regulated (GxP) environments with at least 3 - 5 years in a leadership and delivery
- management role.
- Experience in healthcare or life sciences domain.
- Veeva Certification in one or more Vault applications is mandatory (e.g., RIM, Quality,
- Clinical, Commercial).
- Proven expertise in Vault configuration components (lifecycle, objects, workflows, security
- models, and SDKs)
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycles, release management, and change
- control processes.
- Demonstrated experience working in Agile delivery models and collaborating with crossfunctional teams.
- Excellent stakeholder management, problem-solving, and communication skills with a
- consultative mindset.
- Ability to lead complex technical discussions and influence decisions across senior technical
- and business audiences.
