Vice President Sales & Marketing
Company: CHEMORO INDUSTRIES LIMITED (NKP Group of Industries)
Product: Chlorinated Paraffin Wax
Installed Capacity: 1,800 MT / Month
Location: Delhi NCR or Ahmedabad (with frequent travel)
Reporting To: Managing Director / Board
Role Purpose
The Vice President Sales & Marketing will be a business leader, not a transactional sales manager.
The role is responsible for driving volumes, margins, brand positioning, distributor network, exports, and long-term market dominance of the CHEMOCHLOR brand across India and international markets.
This position carries P&L ownership for CPW sales, market expansion responsibility, and potential strategic partnership / equity participation based on performance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales Leadership & Revenue Growth
Own and drive monthly sales of 1,800 MT+ CPW across domestic and export markets.
Build region-wise demand plans aligned with plant capacity and working capital.
Ensure price discipline, margin protection, and volume stability.
Lead sales for PVC, Cable, Rubber, Paint, Lubricants, Adhesives, Footwear & Plastic processors.
Convert CHEMORO from spot-based sales to relationship-based accounts.
2. Channel Development (Core Responsibility)
Design and execute DealerDistributorSuper Distributor network across:
India (North, West, South, East)
Middle East, Africa, South Asia, Europe
Implement pay-and-lift / low-credit / zero-credit models wherever possible.
Appoint, train, monitor, and remove non-performing channel partners.
Finalize margin structures, incentive slabs, territory protection, and SOPs.
3. Export & Global Market Expansion
Develop export business for CPW in Africa, Middle East, Southeast Asia, LATAM & Europe.
Work closely with ORFOM UK LTD for international trading and sourcing synergy.
Finalize pricing, contracts, Incoterms, payment terms, and risk mitigation.
Build direct relationships with large PVC compounders and cable manufacturers abroad.
4. Marketing & Brand Building
Position CHEMOCHLOR as a reliable, consistent, technically strong CPW brand.
Lead branding initiatives:
Website & solution pages
Trade exhibitions
Digital & LinkedIn positioning
Drive application-based selling, not commodity selling.
Support CSR-linked branding (Tree Certificate, sustainability initiatives).
5. Strategic Planning & Leadership
Prepare annual business plan, sales forecast, and expansion roadmap.
Work closely with Production, QC, Finance & Logistics teams.
Build and mentor a high-performance sales team (regional heads, key account managers).
Act as a strategic advisor to the MD on pricing cycles, market risks, and competition.
Eligibility & Experience
Mandatory
1220 years of experience in CPW / PVC additives / plasticizers / specialty chemicals.
Proven track record of 5002,000 MT/month sales responsibility.
Deep relationships with PVC processors, cable manufacturers & compounders.
Strong understanding of pricing cycles, credit risk, and raw material volatility.
Experience in dealer & distributor-driven chemical sales.
Preferred
Export market exposure (Africa / Middle East / Asia).
Experience scaling a new or growing chemical brand.
Ability to work in entrepreneur-driven organization, not MNC bureaucracy.
