As Vice President, Operational Manager within the International Consumer Bank at JPMorgan Chase, you will be responsible for leading and optimizing business operations. Your role will involve strategic planning, team leadership, and a focus on technology-driven process improvements. With your extensive experience in operations management, you will ensure efficient, compliant, and cost-effective business processes, supporting the organization's growth and success. You will oversee end-to-end client account operations, including product transfers (ISA, pensions), trading flows, and lifecycle administration, lead large-scale reconciliations, regulatory reporting, and cash management to ensure compliance and operational integrity. You will drive process efficiency across marketing, client onboarding, and vendor engagement.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with company goals and objectives.
  • Lead and manage cross-functional operational teams, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations, including workflow management, resource allocation, and compliance with all relevant regulations and industry best practices.
  • Monitor and analyze KPIs to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in operations management to maintain a competitive edge and drive adoption and integration.
  • Prepare and present operational and financial reports to senior leadership.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, vendors, and service providers monitor performance and address any issues or discrepancies.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor operational staff, promoting professional growth and development foster a positive and inclusive work environment that encourages teamwork and high performance.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree, Master's degree, or MBA.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in operations management or equivalent industry, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Experience in developing and managing operational budgets, financial analysis, and cost control. Ability to prepare and present operational and financial reports to senior leadership.
  • Strong understanding of workflow optimization, resource allocation, and regulatory compliance.
  • Proven ability to lead and inspire teams, drive change, and achieve results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Demonstrated working experience with Excel, Tableau, and/or Alteryx for data analysis and reporting.
