Position Summary
The Vice President will lead the company's technology strategy, infrastructure, and digital initiatives while serving as a strategic advisor on Oracle and SAP platforms, both internally and in support of client engagements. This role requires a hands-on executive who can align IT operations with business objectives, drive innovation, and ensure the security and scalability of our systems.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Define and execute the enterprise IT strategy aligned with company goals and growth plans
- Advise the executive team on emerging technologies, digital trends, and competitive positioning in the Oracle/SAP consulting market
- Champion digital transformation initiatives that improve operational efficiency and client delivery
Technology Operations
- Oversee all IT infrastructure, applications, cybersecurity, and data management
- Ensure high availability, performance, and security of internal Oracle and SAP environments
- Manage vendor relationships, licensing, and technology partnerships with Oracle, SAP, and other key providers
Team Leadership
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing IT organization
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and accountability
- Collaborate with consulting and delivery teams to ensure technical alignment on client projects
Governance & Compliance
- Establish IT policies, standards, and governance frameworks
- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA, SOC 2, etc.)
- Manage IT budgets, forecasting, and ROI analysis for technology investments
Client & Business Enablement
- Partner with sales and delivery leadership to support pre-sales technical discussions and solution architecture
- Leverage internal systems as reference implementations and proof points for client engagements
Qualifications
Required
- 15+ years of progressive IT leadership experience, including 5+ years in a senior executive role (CIO, VP of IT, or equivalent)
- Deep expertise in Oracle (ERP Cloud, E-Business Suite, Fusion, or related) and/or SAP (S/4HANA, ECC, SuccessFactors, or related)
- Proven track record of leading IT strategy in a professional services or consulting environment
- Strong background in enterprise architecture, cloud platforms (OCI, Azure, AWS), and cybersecurity
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for executive and board-level audiences
Preferred
- Experience in a client-facing or billable consulting role earlier in career
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Oracle Cloud, SAP Certified, CISSP, TOGAF, PMP)
- M&A integration experience, including IT due diligence and system consolidation
- MBA or advanced degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
