Reports to: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Position Summary

The Vice President of Sales will lead the company's revenue growth strategy, driving new business acquisition, account expansion, and strategic partnerships. This executive will own the end-to-end sales organization, including sales strategy, pipeline development, client relationship management, and go-to-market execution. The ideal candidate has deep experience in enterprise consulting or IT services, an established network in C-suite circles, and a track record of building and leading high-performance sales teams.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Sales Leadership

  • Define and execute a multi-year sales strategy that aligns with corporate growth goals and service offerings.
  • Drive revenue targets across enterprise clients and vertical industries (e.g., technology, manufacturing, financial services, public sector).
  • Partner with marketing and delivery teams to shape go-to-market strategies, value propositions, and solution positioning.
  • Forecast and report on sales performance metrics to the executive team and board.

Business Development & Account Growth

  • Build and nurture relationships with key enterprise clients, technology partners, and channel alliances.
  • Lead pursuits for large consulting and IT transformation projects across Oracle, SAP, Cloud, and related service lines.
  • Identify opportunities for cross-sell and upsell within strategic accounts.
  • Negotiate complex contracts and ensure deals meet profitability and risk thresholds.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Recruit, coach, and mentor a high-performing sales organization, including business development managers, account executives, and pre-sales specialists.
  • Establish a culture of accountability, collaboration, and strategic selling.
  • Develop incentive structures, sales enablement programs, and training to support consistent performance.

Market Intelligence & Partnerships

  • Monitor market trends, competitor movements, and client demand shifts to refine strategy.
  • Strengthen alliances with key technology vendors (Oracle, SAP, AWS, Microsoft, etc.) to co-develop sales initiatives and joint value propositions.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and executive forums.

Qualifications

Required

  • 15+ years of progressive experience in sales leadership roles within IT services, digital consulting, or enterprise software.
  • Proven track record of managing P&L or revenue responsibility exceeding $50M+.
  • Experience building and scaling sales teams across regions and service lines.
  • Deep understanding of enterprise technology ecosystems (Oracle, SAP, Cloud, or equivalent).
  • Strong executive presence and communication skills for engaging C-level stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated success with long-cycle, consultative selling and solution-based sales models.

Preferred

  • MBA or advanced degree in Business, Technology, or related field.
  • Background in consultative selling of complex multi-year technology transformation deals.
  • Familiarity with CRM and pipeline management tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, or equivalent).
  • Experience in structuring channel and alliance partnerships.
