Our flagship product is OmegaAI, the world's first Imaging EMR, a cloud native SaaS application.We have onboarded several health organizations and are preparing to scale by an order of magnitude.Our teams deploy to production multiple times per day, and we keep a close eye on our DORA metrics as we work to improve them.
We are looking for a Platform Engineering leader who has successfully scaled SaaS applications by an order of magnitude or more. The successful candidate is a software developer with an ownership mindset that they leverage to create a collaborative environment where teams own their software in production.
Key Responsibilities
- Set the strategy and direction for the Platform Engineering teams
- Lead the Platform Engineering OKR process, championing the objectives and key results that will drive the improvement of our platform
- Define the team structure and processes enabling our growth and continued improvement of our DORA metrics
- Monitor and improve the performance, availability and reliability of our platform, proactively identifying and resolving issues
- Create a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration by running effective, blameless postmortems and executing on what we learn
- Build, mentor and inspire globally distributed, high-performing teams of platform engineers,
What will you bring to RamSoft
- Prior experience owning the technical direction and strategy for platform teams
- An obsession for improving DORA metrics
- Software development experience on a SaaS product
- Experience designing,implementingand managing cloud-native systems, with specificexpertisein Azure
- Expertiseimplementing effective monitoring and observability tools improving MTTR
- Experience scaling cloud native services such as Azure SQL Service, Cosmos DB, Azure Storage Queues,Elasticsearch
- Strong knowledge of cloud best practices, security principles and compliance standards
- Demonstrated experienceoptimizingcloud resources for cost efficiency and scale
- Strong leadership,communicationand interpersonal skills
- Ability to guide difficult decision-making processes
- A history of leading high performing platform teams, and growing talentedprofessionals
What will make you stand out
- Previousexperience with a SaaS healthcare application hosted in Azure
- Experience with Data Engineering, Data Warehousing and Machine Learning
