We are seeking a seasoned leader to join as Head- Operations Excellence (OE Head) for a global IT organization. This role will drive strategic transformation and lead delivery across large-scale operations, including Network Operations, NOC, BPO, RPA based out of Chennai/bangalore /Hyderabad.
The ideal candidate will bring deep domain expertise, global delivery experience, and a strong track record in driving operational efficiency, automation, and cost optimization at scale.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Leadership
- Define and execute the Operations Excellence (OE) strategy aligned with global business objectives
- Lead transformation initiatives across Network Operations, BPO, and Digital Operations
- Act as a key advisor to executive leadership on operational efficiency and automation
2. Large-Scale Operations Management
- Oversee large, complex, multi-location delivery portfolios
- Drive SLA/KPI adherence, service quality, and customer satisfaction
- Manage P&L responsibilities, cost optimization, and productivity improvements
3. Automation & Digital Transformation
- Lead adoption of RPA, AI/ML, and Intelligent Automation across business processes
- Identify and implement automation opportunities to reduce manual effort and improve accuracy
- Build and scale CoEs (Centers of Excellence) for automation and process excellence
4. Process Excellence & Continuous Improvement
- Embed Lean, Six Sigma, and Agile methodologies across operations
- Drive continuous improvement programs and operational benchmarking
- Establish governance frameworks for performance tracking and reporting
5. Stakeholder Management
- Engage with global clients and internal stakeholders at C-level
- Drive strategic partnerships and ensure alignment across geographies
- Lead client presentations, transformation roadmaps, and value realization discussions
6. Team Leadership
- Build, mentor, and lead high-performing global teams
- Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and excellence
- Develop leadership pipelines within the organization
Key Requirements:
- 20-25 + years of experience in IT/ITES, with significant exposure to Network Operations, NOC, BPO, and Automation
- Proven experience in leading large global delivery portfolios
- Strong expertise in RPA (UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism), AI/ML, and Intelligent Automation
- Demonstrated success in driving digital transformation and cost optimization initiatives
- Experience managing P&L, large teams, and multi-geo operations
- Strong knowledge of Lean Six Sigma, ITIL, Agile frameworks
- Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA or equivalent leadership qualification
- Six Sigma Black Belt / Lean certifications
- Experience working with global clients across US, UK, and APAC markets
