We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President to oversee and manage the implementation of high-end interior finishes across our real estate projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in interior design, construction management, and project leadership. This role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Execution:
- Develop comprehensive project plans for high-end interior finishes, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Oversee the execution of projects to ensure adherence to design specifications, quality standards, and timelines.
Vendor and Supplier Management:
- Identify and engage with reputable vendors, contractors, and suppliers for interior finishes.
- Negotiate contracts, manage relationships, and monitor performance to ensure delivery of high-quality materials and services.
Team Leadership and Collaboration:
- Lead a team of designers, contractors, and project managers, providing guidance and support throughout all project phases.
- Foster a collaborative environment that encourages creativity, innovation, and excellence in execution.
Quality Assurance and Compliance:
- Implement quality assurance processes to uphold high standards of craftsmanship and finishes.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and industry standards related to interior finishes.
Budget and Cost Management:
- Develop and manage budgets for interior finish projects, monitoring expenses and controlling costs effectively.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or design integrity.
Client and Stakeholder Communication:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, stakeholders, and internal teams regarding interior finishes.
- Communicate project updates, milestones, and challenges in a clear and timely manner.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience 20 years in managing high-end interior finish projects within the real estate or construction industry.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve project goals.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, etc.).
- Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards related to interior finishes.
- Certification in Project Management (PMP) or equivalent.
- Experience working with luxury real estate developers or high-profile clients.
- Demonstrated success in delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
