Role Overview

The Vice President Finance will be responsible for providing strategic financial leadership across the organization, ensuring robust financial governance, sustainable growth, and effective capital management. The role will act as a key business partner to the leadership team and play a critical role in financial planning, risk management, and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the finance function, including Financial Accounting, Taxation, Audit, Treasury, Budgeting, and Compliance.

Monitor and strengthen the financial health of the organization, with a strong focus on budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and working capital management.

Prepare and present periodic financial reports (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statements, MIS) to the Board, CMD, and senior leadership.

Drive short-term and long-term financial planning, including annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and cost optimization initiatives aligned with the company's strategic objectives.

Oversee project finance activities, including financial evaluation, funding structures, ROI analysis, and risk assessment for new and ongoing projects.

Lead external and internal audits, ensure statutory compliance, and drive timely closure of audit observations.

Establish and strengthen financial processes, controls, and governance frameworks to improve operational efficiency and reduce turnaround timelines.

Act as a strategic finance partner to business heads and functional leaders, supporting business planning, performance evaluation, and financial modeling of business opportunities.

Evaluate and validate business models, investments, and expansion plans from a financial viability and risk perspective.

Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders (banks, auditors, consultants, regulators) to ensure seamless finance operations.

Build and nurture a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and data-driven decision-making.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Qualifications:

Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).

Extensive experience across the full spectrum of finance, accounts, taxation, audit, and compliance.

Proven experience in senior finance leadership roles, preferably in high-growth or asset-heavy organizations.

Strong exposure to board-level reporting, strategic planning, and project finance.

Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and translate financial insights into business outcomes.
