Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting & Analysis:
- Generate monthly MIS reports to monitor key business indicators and support data-driven decision-making.
- Conduct financial planning and analysis, including reconciliation, portfolio review, and financial statement evaluation.
- Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements, along with ad hoc financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Perform financial analysis in accordance with IFRS, IAS, and US GAAP standards.
Banking & Treasury Management
- Maintain and manage banking relationships for business units.
- Negotiate loans, credit lines, and merchant services to optimize financial operations.
Statutory Compliance & Audit
- Ensure full compliance with statutory requirements including Income Tax, Service Tax, and State Taxes.
- Liaise with the Audit Committee and external auditors to meet SEZ and STPI regulatory standards.
- Oversee payroll processing to ensure timely and accurate compensation for employees.
Procurement & Purchase Leadership
- Lead purchase finalization activities as the Purchase lead for the Location, ensuring cost-effective and compliant procurement practices.
International Operations
- Coordinate with stakeholders in India and the US on a weekly basis for updates, approvals, and alignment.
- Facilitate smooth resource hiring, onboarding, and transition through Shared Support Services for US entities.
Strategic Advisory & Decision Support
- Deliver monthly financial insights and analysis to aid strategic decision-making.
- Formulate and advise on transfer pricing strategies in compliance with international tax laws.
- Drive process improvements and operational efficiencies by influencing and aligning stakeholder
Education & Experience
- Chartered Accountant
- College degree in accounting/finance/business management highly preferred
- Minimum of 18-20 years work experience, working within accounting and finance functions
