Role Overview:
We are seeking a strategic and execution-focused Vice President of Finance to lead all aspects of financial operations, global entity structuring, treasury management, and investor readiness. This role is critical to our next phase of growth as we scale trading operations, prepare for external capital raises, and expand across jurisdictions.
What You'll Do:
Strategic Financial Leadership
- Own financial planning, reporting, and control across all entities.
- Partner with CEO and leadership on business model evolution, new product lines, and capital deployment.
Global Treasury & Capital Management
- Oversee movement and allocation of trading capital across exchanges, subsidiaries, and jurisdictions.
- Optimize capital efficiency, reduce idle balances, and manage FX, crypto, and banking exposures.
Legal Entity & Tax Structuring
- Design and oversee the global legal and tax structure (BVI, DIFC, India, South Africa, etc.)
- Ensure compliance while optimizing for operational flexibility, tax efficiency, and repatriation.
Investor & Capital Markets Readiness
- Build internal systems and governance for future equity raises, audits, and investor due diligence.
- Drive consolidation, audit preparation, and data room maintenance.
Finance & Ops Infrastructure
- Lead budgeting, accounting, transfer pricing, intercompany agreements, and expense controls.
- Implement internal finance tools and reporting dashboards to enable business leaders.
Team Building & Vendor Management
- Manage external consultants (tax, legal, audit, accounting) and build an in-house finance team over time.
- Drive cost discipline while enabling business speed.
Ideal Background:
- 715 years of experience in a finance leadership role at a trading firm, prop desk, fintech, or investment-focused company.
- Deep understanding of treasury operations, legal entity structuring, and cross-border capital flows.
- Prior exposure to crypto trading, digital assets, or high-frequency markets is highly preferred.
- Strong financial modeling, cash management, and regulatory compliance skills.
- Comfortable working in lean, high-performance environments with rapid decision-making and cross-functional execution.
