1. Strategic Financial Planning

  • Lead the development and implementation of long-term financial strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to drive financial decision-making and capital allocation.
  • Evaluate and optimize capital structure, cost of capital, and investment return metrics.

2. Fundraising & Capital Markets

  • Identify and execute equity, debt, and structured financing transactions (including IPO, private placements, term loans, green bonds).
  • Build relationships with banks, NBFCs, PE/VC funds, sovereign investors, and development finance institutions.
  • Lead negotiation of term sheets, credit agreements, covenants, and security arrangements.

3. Project & Infrastructure Financing

  • Structure financing for utility-scale and C&I solar projects, including SPV-level funding.
  • Secure project debt through non-recourse/limited-recourse financing models.
  • Work closely with project development, legal, and EPC teams to ensure financial closure.

4. Mergers, Acquisitions & Joint Ventures

  • Drive inorganic growth through M&A, strategic partnerships, or joint ventures.
  • Lead valuation, due diligence, and integration of acquired entities or assets.
  • Evaluate opportunities in emerging markets for expansion or diversification.

5. Investor Relations

  • Serve as the primary liaison for investors and rating agencies.
  • Develop investor presentations, quarterly reports, and financial disclosures.
  • Ensure transparency, credibility, and confidence in investor communications.

6. Financial Governance & Risk Management

  • Establish financial policies, internal controls, and risk management frameworks.
  • Ensure compliance with SEBI, RBI, and other regulatory bodies.
  • Monitor and manage financial risks including interest rate, forex, and liquidity risks.

7. Team Leadership

  • Lead and mentor a high-performing corporate finance team.
  • Build capabilities in project finance modeling, capital budgeting, and analytics.
  • Foster a results-oriented and accountable finance culture.

Key Requirements

Education

CA / CFA / MBA (Finance) from a reputed institution

Experience

  • 15+ years of progressive experience in corporate finance, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
  • Proven track record of raising capital for infrastructure or renewable energy companies
  • Strong knowledge of financial instruments, green finance, and ESG-linked lending
