The role of Operation at Aon Services Corporation is an outstanding and exciting opportunity in the Finance/Insurance sector! You will be responsible for broking strategy, treaty placement, and relationship management within the Aviation Treaty Reinsurance segment. This position involves developing and implementing effective placement strategies, managing cedant and reinsurer relationships, negotiating coverage terms, and ensuring high-quality service delivery aligned with Aon's global standards and regulatory requirements.
Client, Cedant & Market Relationship Management
Develop, maintain, and strengthen effective working relationships with Clients, Cedants, Reinsurers, insurers, and broking centres. Act as the primary point of contact within the broking team for designated Cedants, providing specialist treaty placement advice and market insight. Build and manage long-term relationships with reinsurers and broking centres to improve service delivery, facilitate placements, and support claims settlement and payments. Represent Aon professionally in the market, demonstrating Aon values in all client and insurer interactions.
Build and implement broking strategies for client retention and new business development within the Aviation Treaty portfolio. Review market submissions and prepare quotations, placement slips, and presentations for new business and treaty renewals. Ensure submissions effectively position and communicate the Cedant's risk profile to the reinsurance market. Identify appropriate placement channels in accordance with Cedant market security guidelines, internal policies, and placement requirements. Negotiate pricing, capacity, and terms to achieve efficient coverage solutions for Clients and Cedants.
Negotiate terms and conditions of treaty placements with insurers, reinsurers, and broking centres. Acquire quotes, manage underwriter enquiries, and support market discussions throughout the placement process. Review and advise on policy wordings, endorsements, limits, deductibles, and coverage applicability. Provide technical advice to Clients, Cedants, and internal colleagues on placement structures, available market capacity, encouraged pricing, coverage improvements, market feedback, and progress.
Monitor and communicate market developments and trends impacting Aviation Treaty Reinsurance. Share market intelligence with Cedants and internal marketing teams to improve Aon's world-class value proposition. Support business development initiatives by finding opportunities for new placements or expanded coverage solutions.
Guarantee full conformity with all applicable regulatory requirements, internal business procedures, and Aon reinsurer security policies. Keep accurate records and uphold governance standards during the placement lifecycle.
Strong experience in Aviation Treaty Reinsurance broking or related treaty placement roles. Demonstrated expertise in broking strategy, negotiation, and completing placements. Strong understanding of reinsurance policy structures, wordings, and market practices. Excellent communication and collaborator management skills, with the ability to engage senior clients and global reinsurers. Proven ability to manage multiple placements, renewals, and client relationships concurrently.
