Job Description: Vibration Analyst

Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Vibration Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing vibration data from a range of rotating machinery, identifying potential issues, and providing actionable recommendations to our customers. You will play a key role in supporting condition monitoring programs, system installations, and demonstrating our cutting-edge monitoring technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze online vibration data for a range of rotating equipment including (but not limited to) turbines, blowers, pumps, gearboxes, and motors.
- Diagnose machine health issues and provide clear, actionable insights and recommendations.
- Deliver technical reports and communicate findings to customers in a professional and timely manner.
- Perform hands-on target pointing, sensor mounting, and installation of vibration monitoring systems.
- Assist in root cause analysis efforts and reliability improvement initiatives.
- Support sales and business development by demonstrating online condition monitoring devices and explaining their technical benefits to potential clients.
- Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, data science, and customer success) to continuously improve our solutions.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Level II or III Certification in Vibration Analysis (as per ISO or ASNT standards).
- In-depth understanding of rotating machinery and preventive maintenance strategies.
- Minimum of 5 years of field and/or plant experience as a vibration analyst.
- Proven ability to interpret complex vibration signatures and spectra.
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to clearly explain technical issues to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with vibration data collection tools and analysis software (e.g., Emerson, SKF, Bently Nevada, etc.).
Additional Details
- This role involves both field work at customer sites and office-based data analysis/reporting.
- Travel to customer locations (within India or abroad) will be required, sometimes at short notice.
