This is a full-time, on-site role for a Veterinary Doctor based at the SKS Veterinary Hospital in Chennai. The role includes diagnosing and treating various medical conditions in pets, performing surgical procedures, ensuring post-operative care, administering vaccinations, and providing preventative healthcare advice to pet owners. The Veterinary Doctor will collaborate with a team of specialists, manage patient records, and ensure emergency care practices are executed promptly and effectively.

• Expertise in diagnosing and treating medical and surgical conditions in small animals
• Proficiency in administering vaccinations, performing health exams, and recommending preventive healthcare plans
• Comprehensive knowledge of animal behavior, handling techniques, and care standards
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with pet owners and team members
• Commitment to evidence-based medical practices and continuous professional development
• Veterinary degree (BVSc or equivalent) and a valid license to practice veterinary medicine in India
• Experience working in a multi-specialty veterinary hospital is preferred
• Flexible and able to handle emergency cases with prompt decision-making skills
