Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Veterinarian at our facility in Chennai. The Veterinarian will be responsible for conducting physical examinations, diagnosing and treating health conditions in pets, performing surgical procedures, providing emergency and critical care, recommending appropriate preventive measures, and counseling pet owners on their pet's health and well-being. The role also involves maintaining medical records and working collaboratively with a team of veterinary professionals to ensure high-quality care for every pet.

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of veterinary practices, animal anatomy, and clinical procedures
• Experience in surgical procedures such as spaying, neutering, and other medical interventions
• Strong diagnostic, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with pet owners and team members
• Passion for building strong relationships with pets and their owners
• Deftness in maintaining accurate medical documentation
• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree, with valid state veterinary licensure
• Experience in handling emergency cases and providing critical care is advantageous
• Commitment to staying updated on advancements in veterinary medicine
