Description
We are seeking a skilled Vertex Developer with extensive experience in AS400 and Oracle EBS to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 7-8 years of hands-on experience in developing and maintaining Vertex applications, ensuring seamless integration with AS400 and Oracle EBS systems. The candidate should have a strong understanding of tax compliance and the ability to work collaboratively with various teams to deliver effective solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Vertex integrations with AS400 and Oracle EBS systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement solutions.
- Conduct performance tuning and optimization of existing Vertex applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Vertex, AS400, and Oracle EBS.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in software development.
- Prepare technical documentation and provide training to end-users when necessary.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 7-8 years of experience in Vertex development, specifically with AS400 and Oracle EBS.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, or PL/SQL.
- Experience with database management systems, particularly Oracle databases.
- Knowledge of tax compliance and regulations relevant to Vertex solutions.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively in a team environment.
