Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Verification Associate to join our background screening team. The role involves conducting accurate and timely employment verifications as part of pre-employment background checks. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and demonstrates strong analytical and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct end-to-end employment verifications for background screening purposes
- Reach out to employers, HR departments, and references via phone, email, and other communication channels
- Verify candidate employment details including job titles, tenure, responsibilities, and reasons for leaving
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company and client standards
- Maintain proper documentation and update verification records in internal systems
- Meet defined turnaround time (TAT) and productivity targets
- Identify discrepancies and escalate issues when required
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience (background screening, verification, BPO, or related field preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and quick-learning environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills ( English language )
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Basic proficiency in Google Workspace and data entry systems
