Role Overview
The Category Associate Operations will be responsible for coordinating with vendors, tracking ongoing projects, ensuring quality standards are maintained, and driving operational efficiency within the assigned category.
Key Responsibilities
- Vendor Coordination & Management
- Coordinate with all assigned vendors on a daily basis.
- Ensure daily sync-ups to track project progress and resolve issues proactively.
- Follow up on timelines, deliverables, and operational commitments.
- Escalate delays or deviations to relevant stakeholders.
- Project Monitoring
- Track ongoing projects and ensure milestone adherence.
- Maintain structured updates on project status, risks, and dependencies.
- Ensure smooth execution in line with defined SOPs.
- Quality Control & Review
- Review and monitor quality parameters of work delivered by vendors.
- Conduct periodic quality audits (remote or on-site as required).
- Highlight execution gaps and recommend corrective measures.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Reporting & Performance Tracking
- Prepare and circulate daily vendor schedules and status reports.
- Compile and publish monthly vendor performance reports (quality, timelines, compliance).
- Maintain dashboards and documentation related to operational metrics.
- Support leadership with data-driven insights.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree (Engineering / Operations / Business preferred)
- 13 years of experience in operations, vendor management, or project coordination
- Strong coordination, analytical, and reporting skills
