Vehicle Integration Engineer to manage the integration of multiple vehicle subsystems to ensure optimal performance, safety, and compliance with automotive standards. The role involves coordinating hardware and software integration across systems such as powertrain, electronics, infotainment, ADAS, and telematics.
The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring seamless interaction between vehicle components during development, validation, and production stages.
Responsibilities
- Lead cross-system integration of vehicle subsystems including powertrain, chassis, electrical, infotainment, and ADAS.
- Coordinate with hardware, software, and testing teams to ensure smooth integration across modules.
- Validate integration requirements and ensure systems meet vehicle-level performance targets.
- Conduct vehicle integration testing, debugging, and system validation.
- Work with CAN, LIN, Ethernet, and automotive communication protocols for system interaction.
- Support prototype vehicle builds, testing activities, and system-level troubleshooting.
- Ensure compliance with functional safety standards and vehicle regulations.
- Monitor integration issues and provide technical solutions for system conflicts.
- Collaborate with suppliers and internal engineering teams for component integration.
Qualifications
- BE/B.TECH
- 3 - 8 years of experience in vehicle integration, system engineering, or automotive product development.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle architecture and subsystem interaction.
- Experience with automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet).
- Familiarity with vehicle diagnostics, testing tools, and integration frameworks.
