Key Responsibilities:
- Edit raw footage into polished final products.
- Collaborate with directors and producers to understand project goals.
- Implement creative storytelling techniques through editing.
- Ensure audio synchronization and quality throughout the video.
- Add visual effects and graphics to enhance storytelling.
- Conduct color correction and color grading to maintain visual consistency.
- Meet project deadlines while maintaining workflow efficiency.
- Organize and manage project files and footage.
- Feedback on project edits and suggested improvements.
- Stay updated with current video editing trends and software.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions for video concepts.
- Create rough and final cuts of videos according to client specifications.
- Work with sound designers and other artists to implement audio and sound effects.
- Prepare videos for various platforms (social media, websites, etc.).
- Assist in archive and library management of video assets.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Video Editor or similar role.
- Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects etc.).
- Strong understanding of video production and post-production processes.
- Excellent storytelling skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Familiarity with motion graphics and visual effects.
