Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Transaction Advisory team on various financial advisory and valuation assignments.
  • Contribute to corporate transactions such as Mergers & Acquisitions, Joint Ventures, etc.
  • Provide expertise on various regulatory matters, including FEMA and Transfer Pricing.
  • Develop and analyze financial models for infrastructure projects.
  • Perform fair market valuations of intangible assets such as brand value, customer contracts, patents, research and development, customer relations, and other such intangibles.
  • Support the in-house Due Diligence Team on transaction-related activities.
  • Build and maintain robust business valuation models using Microsoft Excel; proficiency in VBA/Macros is preferred.
  • Conduct thorough financial analysis and ensure accuracy in all valuation reports.

Background & Skills:

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of relevant experience in valuation, ideally gained from a Big 4 firm or a reputed valuation firm.
  • Strong experience in performing different types of valuations, with a preference for Business Valuation experience.

Technical Skillsets:

  • Accounting: Good knowledge of accounting principles and the ability to read and interpret financial statements.
  • Tax: Understanding of direct tax implications of transactions.
  • Financial Modeling: Well-experienced in working with Microsoft Excel and building complex financial and valuation models. VBA/Macros knowledge is preferred.
  • Experience in Client Management.
  • Demonstrated Team Handling experience.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical capability and the ability to think strategically.
  • Highly adaptable and open to a significant variety in assignments.
  • Must exhibit a strong learning curve and the ability to assume responsibility quickly.
  • A strong team player and self-starter.
