Job Description
Position: Validation Engineer (CE30SF RM 4490)
Required
Required
- 3+ years of experience in validation and test development for embedded systems
- Design, implement, and maintain test plans and test cases for embedded software
- Experience in Independently understanding and following test strategy, test plan, and test specification.
- Experience with CI/CD platforms, pipeline development, and automation
- Knowledge of Jenkins administration and maintenance
- Python scripting experience
- Perform functional, regression, and integration testing of low‑level drivers, middleware, and example applications.
- Execute tests on real hardware as well as in simulated or pre‑silicon environments, where applicable.
- Analyse test results, identify root causes, and collaborate with developers to debug and resolve defects.
- Contribute to improving test coverage, test automation, and test infrastructure.
- Validate software behaviour across different MCU variants, boards, and configurations.
- Ensure delivered software meets quality, reliability, and maintainability expectations.
- Document test results clearly and communicate findings across teams.
- Working knowledge of GIT or similar version control systems.
- Experience troubleshooting test environments
- Comfortable working in Linux and Windows environments
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
- Skilled in usage of AI tools to increase self-efficiency
- Knowledge of cryptography
- Development using NXP products MCUXpresso SDK, BSPs, or low‑level drivers.
- Realtime operating systems in embedded environments.
- Automotive or industrial quality standards (e.g. ASPICE, ISO 26262).
