High Speed IP Validation Engineer - NXP/Pune - REQ_2948

Areas Of Responsibility

Develop and execute validation plans and test cases for high-speed IPs and interfaces.

• Perform post-silicon validation, characterization, and debug of high-speed interfaces.
• Use DSO, high-speed oscilloscopes, protocol analyzers, logic analyzers, and other lab equipment for signal measurement and debug.
• Validate high-speed interfaces such as PCIe, USB, DDR/LPDDR, Ethernet, SerDes, MIPI, or similar interfaces.
• Analyze waveforms and correlate electrical behavior with protocol/functional issues.
• Develop and maintain validation scripts and test automation using Python, Shell, or other scripting languages.
• Perform regression testing, stress testing, corner-case testing, and compliance-related validation.
• Document validation results, debug findings, failure analysis, and root-cause reports.
• Participate in lab bring-up, board bring-up, and silicon validation activities.
• Support customer/client technical discussions and provide detailed validation status and issue reports
  
  

Experience

5 to 8 years of experience

• Experience in semiconductor validation, post-silicon validation, or high-speed interface/IP validation.
• Strong hands-on experience with DSO/high-speed oscilloscope.
• Good understanding of high-speed signal measurement and waveform analysis.
• Hands-on experience with one or more high-speed interfaces: PCIe, USB, DDR/LPDDR, etc and Other high-speed protocols/IP's
• Experience with protocol analyzers, logic analyzers, pattern generators, BERT, or similar validation equipment is an advantage..
• Good knowledge of C/C++ and/or Python scripting for validation and automation.
• Experience with Linux-based validation environments.
• Strong debugging, root-cause analysis, and problem-solving skills
