Set up and maintain lab test benches, equipment, and overall lab infrastructure.
Perform bench-level testing on post-silicon prototypes; use oscilloscopes, logic/protocol analyzers, and other test equipment for measurement and analysis.
Conduct first-level hardware debugging to identify and isolate issues; provide clear documentation of findings.
Track and manage lab assets and inventory with meticulous organization; ensure all equipment is maintained and calibrated.
Document test procedures and results; clearly communicate issues and findings to engineering teams for prompt resolution.
Required Qualifications:
8+ years of experience in electronics hardware testing, lab engineering, or post-silicon validation roles.
Proficiency with lab instruments such as oscilloscopes, logic/protocol analyzers, multimeters, and power supplies.
Strong troubleshooting and first-level debug skills for hardware issues and test failures.
Experience in lab setup and equipment maintenance, including test bench construction and infrastructure support.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills for managing lab assets and records.
Effective communication skills for technical documentation and issue reporting.
Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Hands-on experience with high-speed I/O (HSIO) protocols (e.g., PCIe, USB) and/or power validation. Experience with test automation or scripting (e.g., Python, TCL) in a lab environment is favorable
