Instinctive Studio is a Bangalore-based digital solutions company working across education, enterprise tools, and AI-powered products. We're looking for a UX/UI Designer with 2+ years of hands-on experience designing production web and product interfaces.
This is a 3-month contract position initially with an option to convert to full-time.

JOB DESCRIPTION
You'll own the design layer across multiple products from early concepts to dev-ready handoff.
1. Product & Interface Design
- Design high-fidelity UI for web applications and marketing sites in Figma
- Build with components, Auto Layout, responsive states, and dev-ready specs
- Translate product requirements and user needs into clear, usable interfaces
- Work closely with developers to ensure what ships matches what was designed
2. Visual Design & Brand Work
- Turn brand direction into crisp visual assets (social posts, pitch decks, campaign graphics)
- Maintain and evolve design systems across projects
- Ensure visual consistency across all touchpoints web, product, and collateral
3. UX & Iteration
- Run lightweight user research when needed (interviews, usability tests, heuristic reviews)
- Iterate based on feedback and performance data
- Ship small improvements weekly rather than waiting for the big revamp
- Document design decisions clearly so they survive handoff
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
- 2+ years of professional design experience (agency, startup, or serious freelance)
- A portfolio that shows taste: typography, hierarchy, spacing, and real constraints
- Figma fluency (components, variants, tokens mindset)
- Strong understanding of responsive web design and interaction patterns
- Comfortable collaborating with developers clear specs, sensible breakpoints, QA on staging
- You iterate fast, take feedback well, and don't treat your mockups as sacred
NICE TO HAVE
- Motion design (Lottie/After Effects)
- Basic prototyping in Framer or Webflow
- Experience with design systems at scale
- Comfort with marketing funnels or product analytics to inform design decisions
- Illustration or 3D skills
