Amazon Smarthub, a SaaS solution under SmartCommerce, enables sellers to fulfill orders on multiple marketplaces and DTC websites from one panel, exchange data on listings, orders, payments, returns, inventory, reports, and more between their fulfillment system and online channels. Fulfillment solution along with API integration enables higher levels of selling automation, which helps sellers grow their business.

SmartHub is looking for a UX Designer to design and launch best-in-class user experiences for our customers, worldwide. In this role, you will partner with dedicated Product Management and Engineering teams to deliver intuitive, user-centered design solutions that solve real customer problems. You will contribute to the design vision through user research, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups while ensuring designs are feasible and aligned with technical constraints.

The successful candidate will be a self-starter comfortable with ambiguity, with strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You must be able to thrive and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment, and not be hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities. You will work closely with product managers and engineers to understand customer needs, translate requirements into elegant design solutions, and iterate based on user feedback and data. An ability to balance user needs with business goals and technical feasibility is essential to success in this role.

Key job responsibilities

Conduct user research to understand customer needs, pain points, and behaviors

Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups that effectively communicate design solutions

Partner with Product Management and Engineering teams to deliver user-centered design solutions that are technically feasible

Collaborate with cross-platform design teams to ensure consistency and identify design dependencies

Synthesize qualitative and quantitative data to inform design decisions and validate solutions

Present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders at the team level, incorporating feedback effectively

Contribute to design systems, patterns, and standards to scale design across the product

Support usability testing and iterate designs based on user feedback and performance metrics

Work within technical constraints while advocating for the best customer experience

Basic Qualifications

  • 1+ years of design experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Have an available online portfolio
  • Experience designing and prototyping with tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, or similar
  • Experience working in a collaborative multi-disciplinary team and working directly with developers for implementation of designs
  • Knowledge of mobile and web design patterns and accessibility standards

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in usability testing
  • Experience working in a collaborative team environment to deliver high-quality design solutions
