UX Designer

We are seeking a skilled and user-focused UX Designer to join our Bengaluru-based team at Morae. In this role, you will design intuitive, scalable, and accessible user experiences for an enterprise B2B SaaS product. You will work closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and other cross-functional stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into clear, usable, and effective design solutions.

Experience designing enterprise-grade B2B SaaS platforms is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities-

User Research

• Conduct user research to understand enterprise users, workflows, needs, behaviors, and pain points
• Create user personas, journey maps, and scenarios to guide design decisions

Information Architecture

• Structure and organize complex information to ensure intuitive navigation for enterprise users
• Design sitemaps, user flows, and content hierarchies for scalable SaaS products

Wireframing and Prototyping

• Create low-fidelity wireframes to define layouts and interaction models
• Develop high-fidelity prototypes to validate workflows and interactions with users and stakeholders

Interaction Design

• Define interaction patterns, navigation models, and UI behaviors suited for data-heavy, workflow-driven B2B applications
• Ensure consistency across the product using established design systems and patterns

Visual Design

• Collaborate with visual designers or apply visual styling where required
• Ensure adherence to brand guidelines and enterprise design standards

Usability Testing

• Plan and conduct usability testing with enterprise users
• Iterate designs based on qualitative feedback and quantitative insights

Accessibility

• Design inclusive and accessible experiences aligned with accessibility standards (WCAG)

Cross-functional Collaboration

• Partner closely with Product Managers, Engineering, QA, and Business stakeholders to align design decisions with product strategy and technical constraints
• Support clear design handoffs and implementation

Iterative Design

• Continuously refine designs based on user feedback, analytics, and evolving enterprise requirements

User Advocacy

• Act as a strong advocate for enterprise users, balancing usability with business and system constraints

Documentation

• Maintain design documentation, style guides, and specifications to ensure consistency across releases

Required Qualifications-

• Bachelor's degree in Design, Computer Science, or a related field
• Proven experience as a UX Designer on digital products
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and usability best practices
• Proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD
• Ability to clearly communicate design rationale to technical and non-technical audiences

Preferred Qualifications-

• Experience working on Enterprise B2B SaaS products
• Experience designing complex workflows, dashboards, or data-heavy interfaces
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development environments
• Knowledge of accessibility standards and design systems
