Job Summary:
We are looking for aUX Designer Internwho is passionate about creating meaningful user experiences.Preferably from a reputed design/HCI institute (e.g., NID, IIT-IDC, NIFT, MIT-ID, Srishti or equivalent), with a strong focus on UX research, interaction/design, and documentation.
The ideal candidate should have a solid foundation in qualitative & quantitative research methods, a fair understanding of UI patterns and design systems, and the ability to work with Figma for collaborative design tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the team in conductinguser research(qualitative and quantitative) including surveys, interviews, and usability testing.
- Create and maintainstructured documentationsuch as research reports, journey maps, personas, and design specifications.
- Assist in defininguser flows, wireframes, andinteraction patterns.
- Contribute todesign systems in Figma, ensuring consistency across projects.
- Collaborate with senior designers, product managers, and developers to transform insights into intuitive designs.
- ApplyUX best practices,accessibility standards, and usability principlesin design decisions.
- Stay updated withemerging UX trends, tools, and UI patterns.
Qualifications:
- Degree inDesign/HCI/Psychology; candidates fromreputed institutes (e.g., NID, IIT-IDC, NIFT, MIT-ID, Srishti or equivalent)preferred.
- Strong understanding ofUX processes(user research, wireframing, prototyping, usability testing).
- Good command ofdocumentation and reportingskills.
- Knowledge ofqualitative and quantitativeresearch methodologies.
- Fair understanding ofUI patternsand modern design frameworks.
- Familiarity withFigmaanddesign systems.
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- A portfolio (academic or project-based) showcasingUX workandthought process.
