About the position At A DealerOn Company, we are looking for a Software Engineer to work on our consumer facing Websites Platform. This is a high performing customizable Websites Platform that serves thousands of Websites. Your primary focus will be the development of platform level features and capabilities that enable other teams to develop awesome consumer-facing experiences that delight our customers. As a software engineer you will need to apply abstraction, proven object-oriented programming concepts/principles and innovative ideas to solve complex problems with scalable, high performing solutions. You will be responsible for building highly scalable applications that drive the Websites Platform in distributed Agile Teams.

We're seeking an experienced and self-driven UX Designer to take on a key role in shaping and improving the user experience across our digital products. This role is ideal for someone who brings a blend of strong design thinking, research capability, and executional confidence. As a UX Designer, you'll be expected to lead projects from insight to implementation, advocate for the user, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including product managers, developers, and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead and Execute UX Design Projects: Own the end-to-end UX process for assigned projectsfrom research and ideation to prototyping and final handoff. Create wireframes, user flows, and high-fidelity prototypes in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Conduct and Apply UX Research: Independently plan and execute user research including interviews, surveys, usability testing, and competitive audits. Synthesize findings into actionable insights that drive design decisions.
Maintain and Champion UX Documentation: Develop and manage UX documentation including research reports, personas, journey maps, design rationale, and testing outcomes to ensure alignment across teams.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure design solutions align with user needs and business goals. Act as a UX advocate in collaborative discussions.
Monitor Industry Trends and Market Behavior: Stay informed on UX best practices, competitive trends, and emerging user behaviors within the market to proactively identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in UX Design, Human-Centered Design, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
5+ years of hands-on experience in UX or UI design roles
Demonstrated experience owning UX initiatives across the full product lifecycle
Proficient in Figma, with experience creating both low- and high-fidelity designs
Comfortable running user testing and research independently
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate insights into impactful design
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Highly organized and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously
Nice to have:
Experience with AI design tools (e.g., Figma Make, Lovable)
Understanding of accessibility principles and responsive design
Familiarity with Agile development workflows
Tools:
Comfortable using project management and collaboration tools such as Monday.com, JIRA, and the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
