About the role

Join USI Talent Acquisition as an SAP Payroll Functional Consultant specializing in S/4HANA Concurrent Employment. Lead and support payroll configuration, replication, testing, and production for employees with multiple active assignments.

Key responsibilities

• Design and support S/4HANA Concurrent Employment solutions including multiple assignments, user IDs, and linked personnel records.
• Configure and troubleshoot S/4HANA replication using APIs and monitor data integrity and error resolution.
• Analyze payroll processing impacts across concurrent employments, ensuring compliance with tax, benefits, and organizational requirements.
• Collaborate with HR, Payroll, Benefits, Finance, Integration, and Security teams to define requirements and resolve integration issues.
• Lead change documentation, testing, defect resolution, and transport migration activities including Change Control Board support.

Required skills and experience

• Minimum 5 years of SAP HCM Payroll or S/4HANA Payroll experience with hands-on S/4HANA Concurrent Employment implementation or support.
• Strong knowledge of Employee Central data structures, multiple assignments, and personnel number relationships.
• Proficiency in payroll schemas, wage types, payroll calculation, and tax and social security considerations.
• Experience in SAP payroll testing: unit, integration, parallel, regression, and user acceptance testing.
• Skilled in troubleshooting replication, payroll calculations, master data, and integration issues.
• Ability to write functional specifications and effectively collaborate with technical teams.
• Excellent communication, analytical, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to have

• Experience working with Employee Central to S/4HANA data replication processes.
• Familiarity with downstream integrations involving benefits, time management, identity management, banking, and third-party systems.
