User Interface Designer

Role Overview:

Are you passionate about crafting digital experiences that are visually stunning, intuitive, and aligned with a clear brand identity

Join us as a UI Designer and help us shape and elevate the visual expression of Ergo Nordics future digital insurance solutions across both web and mobile. You will be part of building an app and a website experience from the ground up and your work will help make insurance feel simple, modern, and engaging for millions of Scandinavian customers across Denmark, Norway, and Sweden.

You will turn concepts and UX flows into polished, highfidelity designs and collaborate closely with developers and product teams to ensure seamless implementation. You will also help shape the future of our digital brand expression and support internal stakeholders with visual design material.

You will collaborate with Indiabased scrum teams as well as the UX Lead and IT Product Managers located in Denmark.

Key Responsibilities

• Create highfidelity UI designs for both mobile app and web platforms
• Translate brand direction into a cohesive digital visual identity across platforms
• Utilize UI components created by a German design team to stay aligned with ERGO standards and work jointly with them to improve and extend the system.
• Create highfidelity prototypes that enable UX designers to test user flows and support effective communication with internal stakeholders.
• Prepare developer-ready designs and support development teams during implementation
• Produce internal visual materials, including slide decks and presentation assets
• Ensure consistency and quality across all digital touchpoints
• Collaborate closely with UX designers to elevate concepts and user journeys into final designs

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience working with UI design for digital products (web + mobile)
• Strong English communication skills (written and verbal)
• A portfolio showcasing:

High-quality web and mobile UI

Use of design systems

Final designs and components ready for development

• Proficiency in:

Figma (components, variants, autolayout, prototyping)

Creating pixelperfect, production-ready UI

Applying and evolving component-based design systems

• Ability to translate brand elements into scalable, digital interfaces

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience collaborating with distributed teams across time zones
• Experience supporting internal stakeholders with visual material (slide decks, visuals, infographics)
