About The Role
We are seeking a talented Product Designer to join our team on a contract basis. This role involves evaluating and enhancing the user experience of our live product, including both our app and website. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in practical design thinking, with a keen understanding of real product challenges and user behavior. Unlike traditional visual designers, this position emphasizes making informed design decisions that improve usability and functionality. Candidates will be expected to analyze existing user flows, identify usability issues, and propose meaningful improvements that align with our product goals. As part of the selection process, applicants will undertake a comprehensive evaluation task that involves reviewing our live app and website, analyzing user interactions, and redesigning key screens to demonstrate their problem-solving abilities and design expertise.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess a combination of technical skills and practical experience, including:
- Proficiency in Figma or similar design tools, with a strong portfolio demonstrating previous work on live products.
- Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and usability best practices.
- Experience in analyzing and improving digital products based on user feedback and data.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify core usability issues.
- Excellent communication skills to articulate design decisions effectively.
- Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and deliver high-quality work within deadlines.
- Prior experience with product evaluation, UI/UX analysis, and redesign projects is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
The key responsibilities for this role include:
- Conduct a thorough analysis of the current AdxReel app and website to understand user interactions and identify pain points.
- Evaluate usability issues and pinpoint design gaps that hinder user experience.
- Propose practical and impactful design improvements based on real user flows and data insights.
- Design refined, intuitive, and user-friendly interfaces for critical screens, ensuring consistency with the existing design system.
- Develop and document a comprehensive design system that enhances clarity and structure across the product.
- Complete the mandatory evaluation task, including product review, UX/UI analysis, and redesign exercise, and present findings and solutions effectively.
- Collaborate with the product team to incorporate feedback and iterate on design solutions.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve design quality.
