Position Overview

The company is looking for a Senior UI/UX Designer to lead design across its two product ecosystems. This is a high-ownership role — you'll define user journeys, interaction models, and AI-assisted workflows for hospitality, device-driven, and operational platforms. You'll work directly with product leadership and engineering to turn complex systems into clear, human-centered interfaces.

Role & Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end UI/UX design across web platforms, operational dashboards, and guest-facing experiences
• Translate product strategy into user journeys, wireframes, prototypes, and production-ready high-fidelity designs
• Design AI-enabled UX including smart recommendations, automation workflows, contextual alerts, and decision-support interfaces
• Own and continuously evolve the design system — components, variants, libraries, and documentation in Figma
• Lead usability testing, design reviews, and iterative improvements based on user and stakeholder feedback
• Provide structured design documentation and handover assets to ensure engineering continuity
• Mentor junior designers and establish UX standards and best practices across the team

Must Have Criteria

• 6+ years of UI/UX or Product Design experience with a portfolio showing end-to-end ownership
• Advanced Figma proficiency — design systems, components, variants, auto-layout, and shared libraries
• 3+ years of experience designing B2B SaaS products — multi-role workflows, admin tools, or enterprise platforms
• Experience designing operational dashboards or admin tools with multi-role user flows
• Demonstrated experience designing UX for AI-driven features — recommendations, automation paths, or data-driven insights
• Strong interaction design and prototyping skills — able to communicate complex flows clearly to engineering
• Experience working in Agile/product-led development environments with direct engineering collaboration

Nice to Have

• Experience designing for IoT, device-connected systems, or hardware-integrated platforms
• Prior work in hospitality tech, proptech, or operational SaaS (field service, facilities, logistics)
• Experience mentoring junior designers or leading a design function at a startup or scaleup
• Exposure to explainability UX — designing interfaces where AI decisions need to be transparent and trustworthy
• Familiarity with design-to-dev handoff tools and working alongside front-end engineers on component implementation
