Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Senior User Experience Designer based in Bengaluru, with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. The Senior User Experience Designer will be responsible for designing seamless user experiences, conducting user research, applying design thinking principles, and creating prototypes to validate designs. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, the designer will develop and refine visually compelling and functional solutions that meet user needs and align with Honda's brand standards.

This is a strategic build-out with leadership visibility and long-term significance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end UX design from research insights to final experience flows and polished UI
• Design mobile, web, and connected experiences across customer lifecycle journeys
• Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, interaction models, and design systems
• Translate complex user needs into simple, elegant solutions
• Conduct usability testing and iterate based on feedback and data
• Collaborate closely with product, engineering, research, and business teams
• Help define UX standards, design principles, and scalable design practices

Qualifications

Required

• 8+ years of experience in UX Design, Product Design, or Interaction Design
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field
• Strong expertise in User Research and Design Thinking to understand user needs and inform design decisions
• Proficiency in User Experience (UX) design, including wireframing, user flows, and interaction design
• Skills in Visual Design and Prototyping, with the ability to create intuitive and aesthetically pleasing designs
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on user-centric design processes
• Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively in cross-functional teams
• Experience with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, Protopie and similar software
• Strong understanding of mobile-first and responsive design principles
• Ability to present ideas clearly to stakeholders and leadership

Preferred

• Experience in automotive, mobility, fintech, e-commerce, or consumer tech
• Experience designing for emerging markets or India-first users
• Experience working with developers in agile product environments
• Prior experience in leading UX design projects is a plus
