About the Role
D Globalist is seeking a Lead Product Designer to own and drive the end-to-end design of our flagship product connecting global founders. This is not a support role. You will set the design vision, establish the design system, and shape the complete product experience across web and mobile.
You'll work at the intersection of product strategy and user-forward design — defining how thousands of founders across the world discover, connect, and build together. That means every screen, every interaction, every state. From early wireframes and rapid prototypes to polished high-fidelity UI, you own the craft end to end.
A core part of this role is data-driven design. You will define UX hypotheses, partner with product and engineering to run experiments (A/B tests, phased rollouts), and measure feature adoption through hard metrics, not just qualitative feedback.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the product design vision, define and evolve the UX strategy, information architecture, and visual language from concept through to shipped features.
- Design every layer of the product from wireframes, interaction models, prototypes, to high-fidelity screens across web and mobile (iOS and Android).
- Build and maintain a scalable Design System by creating reusable component libraries, interaction patterns, and style guides in Figma that keep product and engineering in sync.
- Drive UX experimentation, formulate design hypotheses, collaborate with engineering on A/B tests and phased rollouts, and extract actionable insights from usage data and quantitative signals.
- Lead end-to-end product journeys by mapping user flows, conduct user research, and work closely with engineering to ensure precise, high-quality implementation.
- Collaborate cross-functionally - partner with product, marketing, and growth leads in fast-paced sprints, contributing to brainstorming, product strategy, and key creative decisions.
- Mentor and inspire junior designers and cross-functional contributors, cultivating a culture of design thinking, bold creativity, and continuous improvement.
- Stay ahead of the curve by monitoring global design trends, emerging platforms, and evolving UX best practices to keep eXtrefy at the leading edge.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in UX Design, Interaction Design, or a related field, with 4+ years of experience designing digital products - portfolio required.
- Expert-level proficiency in Figma, including Auto Layout, components, variables, and prototyping.
- Strong command of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and After Effects)
- Proven ability to translate user research into high-fidelity designs and functional prototypes.
- Experience building or contributing to a Design System from the ground up.
- Solid understanding of responsive web design, mobile-first principles, and accessibility standards (WCAG).
- Familiarity with design vocabularies and platform conventions across iOS, Android, and desktop web.
- Strong visual design sensibility including typography, color, layout, motion with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills; able to articulate design decisions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously and deliver quality output on schedule.
- Above all: a quick learner who is intellectually curious, open-minded, and genuinely eager to grow.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience designing social and community platforms, or B2C SaaS products.
- Familiarity with front-end development (HTML/CSS) and fluency in engineering handoff via Figma Dev Mode.
- Knowledge of growth design, onboarding optimization, and conversion-focused UX patterns.
- Sensitivity to cross-cultural UX with an understanding of how design decisions land across diverse global audiences.
