We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable US Payroll Specialist with Tax expertise to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing US payroll processes and ensuring compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Process and manage US payroll accurately and on time.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations in the US.
- Prepare and submit payroll tax filings and reports.
- Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues.
- Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure accurate employee records and compensation data.
- Stay updated with changes in payroll laws and regulations in the US.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, or related field.
- 1-5 years of experience in payroll processing, preferably with US payroll systems.
- Strong understanding of US payroll regulations and tax compliance.
- Proficient in payroll software and Microsoft Excel.
