About the Role: We are seeking an experienced US IT Staffing Recruiter to join our team in Hyderabad. You will work night shifts aligned with US business hours, recruiting IT professionals for contract, contract-to-hire, and permanent positions with our US clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source IT professionals (Software Engineers, Developers, QA, BA, Data Engineers, etc.) for US-based clients
- Screen candidates on technical skills, visa status, and availability
- Understand job requirements, tech stacks, and client specifications
- Negotiate bill rates, pay rates, and close candidates
- Manage submissions, interviews, and offer processes
- Work with vendors, consultants, and W2/1099 candidates
- Maintain relationships with bench consultants and candidates
- Utilize job boards (Dice, Monster, CareerBuilder), LinkedIn, and internal databases
- Handle visa sponsorships, transfers, and extensions (H1B, L1, OPT, GC, Citizens)
Required Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of proven US IT staffing/recruiting experience
- Strong understanding of IT technologies, programming languages, and frameworks
- Knowledge of US visa types (H1B, L1, L2 EAD, OPT, GC, Citizens) and their work restrictions
- Experience with full-cycle IT recruitment (Corp-to-Corp, W2, 1099)
- Familiarity with rate negotiations and markups
- Experience with job boards like Dice, Monster, and LinkedIn Recruiter
- Strong Boolean search and sourcing skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Experience working night shifts preferred
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with VMS platforms
- Knowledge of MSP/Direct client recruitment
- Understanding of US states, taxation, and employment regulations
- Experience with high-volume IT recruitment
