US IT Recruiter

Job Summary

We are looking to hire Junior US IT Recruiters to support our growing IT services business. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in US IT recruitment, strong sourcing skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, demand-driven environment. This role is based out of Chennai and requires working during US business hours.

Key Responsibilities

End-to-end recruitment for US IT requirements across contract, contract-to-hire, and full-time roles

Source candidates using job portals (Dice, Monster, CareerBuilder, LinkedIn), internal databases, referrals, and social media

Screen resumes, conduct initial telephonic interviews, and assess candidate fit against technical and client requirements

Coordinate with candidates for interviews, follow-ups, and feedback

Maintain candidate pipeline and recruitment trackers on a daily basis

Ensure compliance with US hiring standards, documentation, and visa validation (H1B, GC, USC, EAD, etc.)

Build and maintain a strong network of active and passive candidates

Meet individual and team hiring targets within defined SLAs

Required Skills & Qualifications

6 months to 3 years of experience in US IT recruitment

Good understanding of US IT technologies and roles (Java, .NET, Cloud, Data, QA, DevOps, etc.)

Familiarity with US work authorizations and tax terms (W2, C2C, 1099)

Strong communication skills (verbal and written)

Ability to work independently and manage multiple requirements simultaneously

Willingness to work in US shifts from Chennai office

Preferred Skills

Experience recruiting for IT Services / System Integrators/ VMS

Exposure to ATS or CRM tools

Strong negotiation and candidate engagement skills

Ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities
