Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled QA Tester with strong experience in US Healthcare Provider domain, combining both functional testing and test automation. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with healthcare workflows, payer-provider systems, and automation frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform functional testing of healthcare applications (Provider workflows, claims, EHR/EMR systems).
- Design, develop, and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts.
- Build and maintain automation frameworks using tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Validate integrations involving HL7, FHIR, and healthcare APIs.
- Perform API testing using tools like Postman or Rest Assured.
- Work closely with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
- Execute regression, smoke, and end-to-end testing.
- Identify, log, and track defects using tools like Jira.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare standards such as HIPAA.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (Sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives).
Required Skills:
- Strong experience in US Healthcare domain (Provider side).
- Good understanding of:
- Provider workflows (Enrollment, Credentialing, Claims, Billing)
- EHR/EMR systems
- Hands-on experience in functional testing.
- Experience in test automation using:
- Java / Python / JavaScript
- Automation tools like Selenium / Cypress / Playwright
- Knowledge of API testing and REST services.
- Familiarity with healthcare data standards like HL7 / FHIR.
- Experience with SQL for data validation.
- Strong knowledge of SDLC & STLC.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum methodology.
