Job Description

Upwork Bidder

Markivis | Remote (India) | Full-Time

ABOUT MARKIVIS

Markivis is a results-driven B2B digital marketing agency with over 7 years of experience, helping IT brands grow through strategy, creativity, and execution. We don't just deliver — we do that little extra. Our culture is built on excellence, bold experimentation, trust through transparency, ownership, and agility to thrive in constant change. We help brands lead with clarity and impact. Join our forward-thinking team to drive change in a competitive digital world.

ROLE SUMMARY

We are looking for a sharp, results-driven Upwork Bidder to own and grow Markivis's presence across top freelance platforms-Upwork, Freelancer, PeoplePerHour, Guru, Fiverr, and LinkedIn. This is a high-ownership role for someone who thrives on hunting, qualifying, and closing — not waiting for leads to arrive.

Success in this position will mean a consistent pipeline of qualified projects, high-converting proposals that reflect a deep understanding of client needs, and long-term retainer relationships that contribute meaningfully to Markivis's revenue growth.

Location: Remote (India-based) | Shift: US Hours, IST 7:00 PM – 4:00 AM | Type: Full-Time | Experience: Min. 2 Years

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Identify, evaluate, and bid on high-quality projects across Upwork, Freelancer, PeoplePerHour, Guru, Fiverr, and LinkedIn.

- Write customised, high-converting proposals tailored to each project's scope, client pain points, and budget — no copy-paste templates.

- Manage the complete bidding lifecycle: project selection, proposal submission, client communication, scope negotiation, and handoff to the delivery team.

- Maintain and optimise agency profiles across all platforms — portfolio, service descriptions, keywords, reviews, and pricing strategy.

- Track and report weekly performance metrics: proposals sent, response rates, conversion rates, and revenue closed.

- Collaborate with marketing and delivery teams to align proposals with Markivis's current service offerings and capacity.

- Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities across Markivis's service stack.

- Build and nurture a pipeline of repeat clients and long-term retainer relationships.

QUALIFICATIONS

- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience as an Upwork Bidder or Business Development Executive at a digital marketing, IT services, or SaaS agency.

- Proven track record of winning projects on Upwork, Freelancer, or similar platforms — with demonstrable revenue figures or portfolio links.

- Excellent written English with strong proposal and copywriting skills; every bid must reflect a deep understanding of the client's needs.

- Solid understanding of B2B digital marketing services: SEO, PPC, CRM, marketing automation, web development, and AI/automation solutions.

- Ability to quickly understand project requirements, estimate scope and pricing, and position Markivis as the best-fit solution.

- Availability to work consistent US shift hours (IST 7:00 PM – 4:00 AM).

- Strong communication skills for client calls, video meetings, and chat-based conversations with international clients.

GOOD TO HAVE

- Experience managing agency profiles with a Job Success Score of 90%+ on Upwork.

- Familiarity with HubSpot CRM, Google Ads, or marketing automation platforms.

- Experience with proposal analytics, A/B testing cover letters, and Connect optimisation strategies.

- Exposure to AI tools for research, proposal drafting, or lead qualification workflows.

- Prior experience selling to clients in the US, UK, Australia, or the Middle East.
