In this role you will be:

1.Installation and configuration of Red hat Enterprise Linux

2. Handling user account management by creating, managing user accounts and passwords

3. Basic to advanced level of file permissions including ACLs

4. Assigning root privileges to sudo users

5. Network Configuration and Trouble shooting

6. Monitoring system processes and user process activity, memory activity, network

7. Checking space availability for File System to increase or Create Volumes

8. Able to understand architecture of systems and recommend design and implementation patterns

9.Configuration of NFS server client, YUM repository, LVM, VCS, VXVM file system, hard-link and soft-link

10. Troubleshooting of file system access issues, NFS server client, VCS, VXVM file system, booting issues

11. Analysis of performance issues

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

1. Min 7+ years Exp

2. Experience in Red hat Linux 5x, 6x, 7x, and 8x versions

3. Experience with DevOps tools such as GITHub, Confluence, and Jira

4. Experience in Puppet/Ansible/HPSA products for end point management and application deployment across a large infrastructure

5. Knowledge of LVM, VCS, VXVM, Growth, decommissioning & migration of the File systems

6. Experience in planning and execution of Disaster Recovery activities

7. Configure network, storage, and application environment on Linux servers as per Project requirement

8. Experience in performing the Firm ware up gradation.
