Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Support Unix system administration tasks, including change management, incident handling (Sev1/Sev2), and SLA adherence
Ensure critical issues are addressed promptly with management visibility
Drive global platform-level changes and coordinate with clients and engineering teams for successful implementation
Prioritize tasks and projects while managing SLAs and client relationships
Contribute to Root Cause Analysis, operational reports, and continuous improvement initiatives
Administer Linux and Solaris environments, including kernel, process lifecycles, DNS, NIS, LDAP, Autofs, NFS, AFS, TCP/IP, jumpstart, and kickstart
Develop and maintain automation scripts using BASH, Python, or Perl
Work with virtualization technologies to manage high-performance computing environments
