Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of UK business tax clients (corporation tax and partnership tax returns)
  • Ensure timely compliance with client and HMRC filing/payment deadlines
  • Provide ad-hoc tax advice under manager supervision
  • Liaise with internal teams (accounting, payroll, cosec, etc.)
  • Support client relationship management and maintain communication
  • Assist on cross-functional tax projects (including US tax team)
  • Contribute to business planning and budget discussions
  • Deliver on-the-job training to non-tax personnel
  • Identify client risks and escalate to Tax Manager
  • Assist with corporate tax compliance forms: P11D/PSA, Form 42
  • Support tax-related process improvements and controls

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Preferably qualified in accountancy, law, or taxation (ATT desirable)
  • Experience with UK business tax compliance and client management
  • Exposure to corporate risk and control processes
  • Understanding of multiple disciplines (tax, legal, accounting)

  • Strong UK tax compliance knowledge
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Strong planning and organizational skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proactive and self-motivated
