The Role
As our UK Payroll & Operations Manager, you will:
- Oversee end-to-end UK payroll processes with full HMRC compliance (RTI, auto-enrolment, CIS, etc.)
- Actively manage all client communications flow, quality of customer service and direct communication by phone with our clients on a daily basis.
- Manage billing, collections and company-secretarial duties, ensuring data accuracy
- Supervise and mentor 1 team member, driving efficiency and quality (potentially 2 including one UK based, depending on your capability)
- Produce monthly KPI reports and offer strategic recommendations to support growth
About You
- Five+ years purely UK payroll experience, including at least two years in a supervisory or management role
- Expert knowledge of UK payroll legislation and compliance
- Native-level English proficiency (written and spoken)
- Proven success in fully remote roles aligned to UK office hours
- Highly organised, proactive and client-focused
