Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for delivering consulting and implementation services on Oracle Unified Inventory Management (UIM) 7.2.X.
  • Perform UIM cartridge development and installation, including configuration of extension points and rule set development.
  • Model both logical and physical inventory components within UIM cartridges.
  • Integrate UIM with upstream systems using standard and custom web services (SFWS, UIM APIs).
  • Work with UIM PSR models to model services and network inventory.
  • Develop rule sets, extension points, and Calculate Technical Actions for services.
  • Utilize UIM Inventory Managers such as Service Manager, CO Manager, and Search Criteria Manager.
  • Apply conceptual modeling knowledge to define inventory and service models.
  • Possess strong understanding of network domains such as Wireless, Cable, DSL, and VoIP.
  • Work on Enterprise and Retail Voice/Data/GSM implementations.
  • Demonstrate hands-on experience with Java, PL/SQL, Unix/Linux, and Shell scripting.
  • Troubleshoot and configure base application packages and maintain documentation standards.
  • Perform code build and deployment activities in development and testing environments.
  • Work independently with inputs from low-level designs (LLD).
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and other stakeholders.
  • Display strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Show eagerness and ability to learn new tools, products, and technologies quickly.
  • Develop and debug web services for system integration.
  • Understand Oracle RODOD/RSDOD solutions and their integration with UIM.
  • Be aware of TMF/eTOM frameworks, SID Data Model, and Oracle RODOD/RSDOD solution architecture.
