Key Responsibilities:
- Create visually engaging and user-friendly website designs that adhere to brand guidelines and enhance user experience.
- Collaborate with the creative team, including graphic designers, UX/UI designers, and developers, to conceptualize and execute design concepts.
- Design responsive layouts that ensure seamless user experience across various devices and screen sizes.
- Develop wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to effectively communicate design ideas to stakeholders.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to incorporate innovative design solutions into projects.
- Work closely with developers to ensure the successful implementation of web designs, providing assets and guidance as needed.
- Conduct regular design reviews and iterations based on feedback from stakeholders, usability testing, and data-driven insights.
- Optimize web designs for performance, speed, and search engine optimization (SEO).
- Collaborate with the content team to ensure visual and textual content complement each other effectively.
- Maintain and update existing websites with new content, design enhancements, and improvements as required.
- Assist in creating and updating design guidelines and documentation to maintain consistency across all digital touchpoints.
- Manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality designs.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelors degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, Interactive Media, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience as a Web Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of web design projects.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD) or similar software.
- Solid understanding of responsive design principles, UI/UX best practices, and web development processes.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus, but not mandatory.
- Strong visual design skills, including layout, typography, and color theory.
- Ability to communicate design concepts effectively and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
